Dr. Amit Sahu

Dr. Amit Sahu has an extensive educational background and over 12 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. He holds a Post-Graduation in MD Radiology and received specialized training in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Seth GS Medical College & King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital in Mumbai, which is a renowned tertiary care referral center. His interest in Neuro Vascular Interventions led him to pursue a Fellowship in Interventional Neuro Radiology (INR) at the same institution.

He further honed his skills by training in the Interventional Radiology (Neuro & Peripheral) department at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai and undergoing Advanced Neuro-Interventions & Peripheral Interventions training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the USA.

Dr. Sahu is an Assistant Professor in Interventional Radiology and actively promotes this field among young doctors. He is a regular faculty member at national conferences of the Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (ISVIR) and has numerous scientific publications to his credit. He is a member of various radiological and interventional societies, both in India and internationally.

His key areas of specialty include various procedures such as mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke, stenting in carotid and vertebro-basilar arteries, embolization in intracranial aneurysms and more. He also specializes in a wide range of interventions, including those related to vascular malformations, lymphatic issues, obstetrics, and gynecology. Dr. Sahu has extensive experience and expertise in managing and treating patients with diverse medical conditions requiring Interventional Radiology procedures.
