He earned his MBBS degree from the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Sion, Mumbai, showcasing a strong foundation in medicine. Furthering his education, Dr. Deogaonkar completed his MD in Medicine at Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College & Hospital Adgaon, Nashik, before undertaking super specialization in Nephrology (DNB Nephrology) at P.D. Hinduja Hospital Mahim, Mumbai. Under the mentorship of renowned Nephrologists such as Dr. Alan Almeida, Dr. Jatin Kothari, and Dr. Rasika Sirsat at Hinduja Hospital, Dr. Deogaonkar gained extensive experience in managing complex Nephrology cases and played a pivotal role in overseeing numerous kidney transplants.

His academic journey continued as he served as a lecturer in Nephrology at LTMMC, Sion. He also helped contribute to the establishment of the Department of Nephrology at Sion Hospital, Mumbai.
