Dr. Shashank Pujalwar

Dr. Shashank Pujalwar is a dedicated gastroenterologist with rich clinical experience in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. He is highly skilled in advanced endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy and ERCP for both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

With a strong foundation from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Dr Shashank has managed complex cases involving IBD, GERD, cirrhosis, liver failure, pancreatitis and hepatology related cancers. He has also contributed significantly to liver transplant evaluations and the management of conditions like fatty liver, viral hepatitis and ACLF.

Dr. Shashank has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at KEM, where he not only delivered clinical care but also mentored young doctors and led clinical research. His work has been published in leading national and international journals, covering areas like liver biopsy, stent complications, esophageal disorders, bowel preparation scoring and more.
