Dr. Ghanekar’s academic journey commenced at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College & Sion Hospital, where he completed his M.B.B.S. Following this, he pursued and successfully obtained his M.D. in Internal Medicine from B.J Medical College and Sassoon Hospital in Pune. Driven by a passion for hemato-oncology, he further specialized in the field by completing his D.N.B in Medical Oncology from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, one of India’s premier cancer care institutions.

To further refine his expertise and enhance his clinical skills, Dr. Ghanekar pursued a Fellowship in Haemato-oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant from P.AK.H, Mumbai, a dedicated pioneer institute renowned for its cutting-edge research and innovative approaches to patient care. His training at this esteemed institution equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to perform complex bone marrow and stem cell transplantations for a wide range of hematological disorders and cancers, including Myeloma, lymphoma, leukemia, Thalassemia, and rare immune disorders.
