Dr. Nikhil Gokhale

Dr. Nikhil Gokhale graduated in medicine from the prestigious G.S.Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai in 2011, with multiple distinctions and a Gold Medal in Surgery. It was at this same institution that he finished his residency in orthopedic surgery (M.S. Orth). He then received training in the NHS in the UK from 2016 to 2021, gaining experience in the subspecialty of knee and shoulder surgery. During his time in the UK, Dr. Gokhale finished the esteemed Exeter Knee Fellowship in 2019, a year-long Shoulder Fellowship at Royal Bournemouth Hospital (2020–2021), and highly specialized training in revision Joint Replacement Surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital–Stanmore (2019–2020). A graduate of Glasgow University with a Diploma in Computer-Assisted Orthopaedic Systems (Dip. CAOS), he is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS Ed). With his 2011 graduation, he has completed over 2000 operations and procedures in total. He specializes in treating issues related to the knee and shoulder, performing both open and arthroscopic keyhole surgery. He has received training in navigation, minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures, and the application of robotics (MAKO) in knee replacement. Dr. Gokhale actively participates in research and employs evidence-based treatment techniques.
