Dr. Rohit Moharir

Dr. Rohit Moharir earned his degree from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital in 2001. Following graduation, he underwent training in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and International Trauma Life Support. He then served as an Emergency Medical Officer at various Offshore locations. Driven by his passion for Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, he pursued a Diploma in Anaesthesiology from the esteemed Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Subsequently, he obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Anaesthesiology from Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai. Throughout this period, he conducted research on multiple projects and presented papers at national conferences. He also achieved his Diplomate degree in Anaesthesiology from the National Board of Education, New Delhi, making him one of the few doctors to hold all three university degrees in the subject. Continuing his academic journey, he attained his Doctorate degree in Critical Care Medicine from Nanavati Max Superspeciality Hospital, Mumbai, where he tirelessly served COVID patients during the pandemic. With extensive experience, he has served as a Critical Care Physician and Intensivist in several hospitals, specializing in Sepsis Management, Nephro Critical Care, and Neuro Critical Care. Proficient in handling CRRT and ECMO machines, he has also excelled in managing NABH Audits. He is a life member of prominent medical societies including the Indian Society of Anaesthesiology, the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anaesthesiologists, the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
